Massnightly ventured out this past weekend to Milford MA, to visit the popular Prezo Grille and Bar!
Prezo Grille and Bar (located at 229 East Main St) is owned and operated by Tom Oliveri. This great restaurant provides fine dining, great portions and a reasonable price for a delicious meal. Upon entering Prezo, we were greeted immediately by General Manger Jessica Benoit. She was gracious enough to show us the complexity of the establishment. At the center of the restaurant sits a U-shaped bar; this area is all ‘help yourself’ seating. For people looking to have drinks and meet some new people, this is where you want to be. Along the outskirts of the bar, there are two separate rooms which have a great atmosphere for a date, meeting, or even just a casual night out with friends. This is where we were seated and enjoyed our meal.
I have heard great things about the food at Prezo’s and looked forward to diving in. Alongside Jessica, we were greeted by Executive Chef Timothy Vaillette. Great food always comes from a great foundation, and Tim makes sure every meal that leaves his kitchen is perfected.
The menu consisted of many different options. Every week an ‘Under 650 calorie” option is available for those trying to get a restaurant quality meal, but also maintaining the calorie count. A beer menu was also presented and featured the “Tap Takeover”; a variation of multiple beers on tap. This variation of the ‘takeover’ beer was a culmination of IPA’s.
On to the meal! For our appetizer we ordered the pretzel chicken bites. Bite size crunchy pieces of chicken with honey dijon sauce. I highly recommend this appetizer as it’s not too filling, leaving plenty of room for the entree.
The main course consisted of Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Seafood Risotto. The lobster mac and cheese consisted of CHUNKS of fresh lobster as opposed to other restaurants who shred it. There’s no questioning if there is lobster in this creamy mix of shell pasta and cheese sauce! Next was the Seafood Risotto. I’m going to go on a limb and say it was easily one of my top 3 favorite dishes of all time ( yes of all time). “Seafood Risotto- Lobster, shrimp & scallop medley, lobster scented arborio risotto, asiago cheese.” With every scoop, there was a guarantee of risotto and a delicious piece of seafood. I highly recommend this to anyone who ventures out to Prezo to try this dish!!
Massnightly would like to personally thank owner Tom Oliveri, Executive Chef Tim Vaillette and General Manager Jessica Benoit for this great experience. We recommend Prezo Grille and Bar for a meal, any day of the week!
In Addition, Prezo Grille and Bar offers great lunch buffets and 1/2 priced appetizer specials; all can be found on our website and mobile app Massnightly. We encourage people of ALL AGES to get off the couch and try great bars and restaurants in your area- like Prezo Grille and Bar!
